Homeland: Ragna comes from a different world, where the natural sky has been replaced by an artificial one, which causes the sun to only appear from 10AM to 2PM. There are very few places that actually have open plains due to the technological advances made over the years, so most of the world is covered by cities, and factories. 40% of the population in this world are humans and the rest of the population are dark beings such as demons, and vampires. The history of Ragna's homeland is that his world was raided by darkness and there was a great war between the humans and the dark beings. The war resulted in the agreement that if the natural sky was replaced by the artificial sky, the dark ones would stop attacking. Unfortunately this allowed the dark ones to roam the world for most of the day, which resulted in the dark population to outnumber the humans.

Physical description:

Ranga stands six feet tall and is about 175 pounds. He has silver hair that is spiky and shifts towards the back of his head. Ragna has two different color eyes, the right one is red and the left one is green. Ragna’s right eye is red because of the transformation he went from a full human to a half vampire. Ragna has no marks or scar anywhere on his body. Ragna's clothing is made out of a special material that protects him from outer powers of darkness. The clothing he wears is a red colored jacket with multiple buckles on it and underneath it he wears a fine black leather suit that is easy to move around in. Ragna is always seen with his blade that weighs about 75 pounds and always carries it around on his back. Even though the blade weighs a great amount, Ragna can move around naturally because he has gotten so used to carrying around so much weigh.


Personality: Before Ragna was turned into a half vampire, he always used to be carefree, not worrying about his grades, not worrying about what his friends thought about his attitude, and pretty much liked to sleep a lot. He also enjoyed playing around with his friends, and always felt like helping others. But after the incident, most of Ragna’s friends think he’s dead now and since Ragna looks different that what he used to look like, and believes that he can never go back to them. Ragna still remains somewhat carefree but he can no longer truly trust anyone who comes up to him that he doesn't know. At times Ragna’s kind nature gets the best of him and he goes out the help anyone in danger even though he is thought of as some kind of monster. Even though most of Ragna's friends have forgotten about him, one of his childhood friends was reunited with him and Ragna deeply loves and cares about her, never before had he broken a promise with her until recently.


History: Kyomaru was born in a normal family and had multiple friends in his neighborhood until his 15^th birthday. Exactly at midnight his household was raided by shadow demons that killed his father and mother. Kyomaru tried to run away but the demons caught up to him and began ripping his limbs apart until a dark figure came and instantly annihilated all of the demons that were attacking him. As Kyomaru laid there mutilated, he said in a weak voice to the figure “P-please, help me… I’m not ready to die…” The dark figure told that he could save him but Kyomaru would never be able to return to his normal lifestyle as a human, and Ragna agreed. That was the start of Kyomaru’s life as Ragna the Soul Blade. During the first years as Ragna, the one who saved him taught him how to live as a fighter and taught him multiple skills and techniques that would help him survive, he also the one who gave Ragna the clothing he wears today. Futher into the future, Ragna is reunited with one of his childhood friends and becomes allies with multiple altered humans who also had tragic pasts and together they formed a group that would create a balance between the light and darkness in their world. The last thing that occurred in Ragna’s life in his world was the discovery of a traitor in the group and Ragna is killed by the traitor in a fight.


RP Sample: Ragna was sitting silently on the rooftop of main organization building, that he had created, and looked at the sun go down. Ragna said to himself "Sigh... We were allies for so long and now he's gone off with another organization and betrayed us, but why?" Ragna laid on the rooftop and tried to calm himself down, while thinking how to deal with this situation. While Ragna was thinking, a young girl with blond hair wearing her cute uniform came up behind Ragna and looked down on him and said "What's troubling you, Kyo?" Ragna got up and said in a dull tone "I'm not Kyomaru anymore so quit calling me Kyo alright." The girl laughed and said to Ragna "Hehe, sorry, but I can't help it, you used to be so cute when I called you Kyo back when we were kids." Ragna blushed and said in a stuttering voice "Y-you idiot, what the hell are you talking about?!" The girl laughed again and said "Haha, see that's what I'm talking about." Ragna got embarrassed again and said "BAH, whatever do what you want." The both of them then sat next to each other looking at the setting sun. After a moment of silence, Ragna said to the girl "Thanks for cheering me up..." The girl smiled at Ragna and replied "No problem, hehe." Ragna continued to think about what he should do about the traitor of the group and thought about hunting him down and fighting against him. The girl interrupted Ragna's thinking and said to him "You're going to hunt him down right?" Ragna replied by nodding his head. After a few minutes of silence the girl said to Ragna "You promise to come back right?" Ragna said in a quiet voice "Uhuh..." The girl then held onto Ragna and pushed him down and said to him with tears in her eyes "You will come back right? You promise? Please... I don't want to lose you again..." Ragna hugged the girl tightly and said to her with more confidence in his voice, "Yes, I promise that I'll come back. I will definitely come back for you." The girl closed her eyes and said "Thank you..."

Hey Zura, I'm liking your new DP.

For homeland, seeing as you decided to include it, I think you should be a little more specific. "mostly covered by darkness" is a tad bit vague. A more accurate idea of the lanscape, may not help us in relation to this world, seeing as no one here will likely go there to really know, but it may halp some understanding of your charatcer. Is it hot, cold, mountainy, flat? Large or small? Lots of water or mostly desert? There is no end to what you can write!

I think your appearance is a bit short for being a Ryoushi, it says 6 lines and I know that you said to ignore that, but even still, it is not very detailed. Marks and stuff are not included, if he has no scars or tattoos you could even say that.

You mostly talk about being carefree in your personality, not going deeper into your characters mentality makes him seem 2 dimensional to me. mention other emotions that he may feel strongly. Does he resent the turn? Is he full of anger or is he more resigned?

Though again, not to detailed, in the case of your history I think that that helps it, it makes it more mysterious, so I don't have a problem as it will maybe be a talking point in a later roleplay. I'd be careful because without this information now, it is more likely that when thinking of soemthing later that you'll be inconsistant without a solid foundation to fall back on, Lol.

Your RP Sample actually made me feel kinda sad, so well done there! It was sad because we know he didn't go back, what a tragedy! That is something you can talk about in your personality, guilt about breaking that promise. I do have one thing about it though. you said in your history that you could never go back to friends and people that you knew before, but this girl appears to know him and knew him before, making references to how he used to look and how she doesn't want to lose him again, was she turned at the time too? if so, he hasn't lost all his friends and if she wasn't then... well, it is confusing and inconsistant, fix that little discrepancy and it should be okay.

I really liked it in general, a little more detail needed I fear, but the premise is awesome! bulk it out a bit and I will approve
