Mire Stone

Name: Mire Stone
Appearance: The Mire Stone is a jewel that resembles steel. Thanks to Rentu's alchemy, he has caused them to take them shape of two earrings that he wears on his right ear. This earrings were originally a combination of a golden color and a light purple color, but with some minor alchemical skills and a little time, he has forced the stone to appear like a common silver earring while still allowing the stone to maintain its alchemical properties.
Effects: The Mire Stone is different from most pieces of armor. Instead of being large metallic clothing that are worn on the body, this armor is small and simple. Being a spellcaster themed tool, it has spellcaster properties. While equipped, this equipment gives the user resistance of 175 damage. Simply put, any attack that inflicts damage to Rentu is decreased in power by 175.
History: This stone was actually found by Rentu a very long time ago when he was much younger. It wasn't until he was a little older and he fell onto the campus of Sentou Gakuin that he knew that he would need it. After figuring this, he decided to make the stone easier to carry, and in order to do so, he turned them into earrings so that they could be carried easier. This was one of the perks of being an alchemist. The stone was found in a trashcan by some person foolish enough to throw it away. Of course, they most likely knew nothing of its secrets and what it could do.

Denied. This item is very good for any character, especially a weak character, but there is no downside to use of the this stone. It doesn't have any bad side effects that could balance it out.

I don't understand why it needs one. Its not that powerful. Most characters that I've seen have techniques that do more than this, and the rules say that this would be a legit object.
