Proving The Cause...(open)

Light walked down the Eternal Pathway. He had a light brown hooded shirt that covered up his face, or at least his eyes most of his nose. He was walking and the Death Note was left at the Suzaku Fortress, hidden from anyone who was nosey and thought that they could simply take it. The way he had it, it couldn't even be approached without setting off extra traps. Of course, Light wouldn't leave empty-handed and unarmed. He had a few small pieces of the Death Note and a very small yet very sharp pin in his hood pocket. At first glance, one would think that Light was simply walking down the Eternal Pathway by himself for no particular reason, but anyone that knows Light Yagami should know well that he does everything for some reason whether it be a big reason or a small reason that will later benefit him greatly. Light was actually here in search of a specific person. He wished to exchange information with this person and he knew that the person was vulnerable to questions and interrogation of the minimal type. He was looking for Zero's father. He was searching for the sole person that knew the true name of the Suzaku Leader. He gathered intelligence from his own sources and deduced that his father would pass by there on a patrol of the area.

Light was well armed for this. He had pieces of the note, as well as a tool in which to write a victim's name down. He had all that he needed...almost. He needed both a name and a face. Luckily, Light had the name of his father--Hatsugen Sunosuke. He lacked a face though, but that was soon going to change.

"Hey Light, you're pretty determined to find this guy aren't you? I mean, you're doing so much just to get rid of the Suzaku Leader. Why don't you just ask him for help or go along with his plans and simply get something out of it? That's what I would do afterall."

Ryuk snickered just a bit at his own comment to Light. Light waited a moment and then replied although his voice wasn't too loud and easily heard.

"You see Ryuk, I need to do these things to achieve my goal. You should know better than anyone else that I wish to cleanse the world of evil right? Well, I can't rid this world of evil if evil stands directly in front of me now can I? Zero is the Suzaku Leader, leader of a criminal organization. The Suzaku Fortress is but a haven for all evil to gather and plot. I can't allow them to continue their mischievious ways. Do you understand?"

Ryuk laughed and nodded his head as he wore his trademark grin. He flapped his dark wings beside Light slowly so that he could maintain the same pace as him.

Light saw a person in the distance with his hands in his pocket looking up into the sky. It was a young looking person with red hair dressed in all white. He couldn't completely see the man but saw simply enough and stealthily walked behind the trees for cover.

Could that be you...Hatsugen Sunosuke?

Hatsugen Sunosuke was walking down the road of Nagai Michi with his hands in his pocket and his head tilted up towards the sky. He had volunteered to patrol the perimeter of the school and somehow made his way to Nagai Michi. It could have been by accident or it could have been on purpose. Knowing Hatsugen, it was most likely on purpose. He continued walking and slightly sensed a presense nearby. He didn't stop to acknowledge it because it didn't seem to be a threatening presense. He simply thought of it as a homeless person sleeping or a person resting behind a tree. He continued a few feet down, his hands in his pocket and he slight jog in his step until he stopped.
He suddenly felt uneasy about something although he couldn't quite place his finger on what it was what could be wrong.

This is strange. Something feels odd about this area of the road. I can't tell exactly what the problem is, but....I know something's wrong. Perhaps...Damnit!! That presense I sensed back there.

Hatsugen realized that he should have been more cautious because he immediately felt a dangerous presense approaching that was very identical, if not exactly the same, as the one he felt a moment ago.

Light immediately darted from behind the tree and positioned himself in a spot directly behind Hatsugen. If he needed to, he was in a position to attack him with his bare hands and deliver a critical blow if not a damaging one. Unknown to many, Light was actually a pretty good fighter. He was no black belt, but he could easily hold his own in a fight against a trained martial artist. That wasn't Light's style though. He didn't want to hurt Hatsugen, but Light was used to using lies and tricks to get exactly what he wanted and he was in perfect position. Because of his hiding spot, he saw Hatsugen's face completely and easily, giving him the opportune chance to memorize the face and continue planning. That opportunity was taken by Light as one could have guessed. Light stood behind Hatsugen with his hands in the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt. His face, or at least his eyes, were covered well by the hood. The rest of his face wasn't that easily hidden.

"Hatsugen Sunosuke. Glad to finally meet you. If I were you, I wouldn't turn around. I have the sole power to kill you at this very moment where you stand if I need to and if you make even the slightest attempt to glance back here or reach for a weapon, I...will...kill...you...on the spot."

Light had confidence in his powers and his plan was flawless at this point. All went according to plan just as he intended and all would continue to go as such, hopefully.

"Truthfully, I'm not here to cause you any harm. I'm actually here to help you out. I have information that you desire and I can provide it to you as long as you tell me one..single..thing. Remember, you are in no position to do any bargaining of any kind, so don't try it. Now for my piece of information. I know you are looking for your son. I know where he is and I know how you can get there. I can tell you that your son goes by the alias of Zero and is the leader of a criminal organization that plans on taking over the world. This could possibly endanger Sentou Gakuin...you work there right?"

Light grinned evilly and in the back near the tree, Ryuk laughed hysterically. He enjoyed this little confrontation and wanted to see how this would turn out. His laughter was loud and maniacle. Luckily, Hatsugen couldn't see or hear him.

"Now. My question to you is this: What is your son's name? Is it: Eisukke Sunosuke or is this information false. Remember..no bargaining or you die!"

Rorak Flash Stepped right next to Hatsugen, his blades drawn. He narrowed his eyes. That kid again...great. He pointed his sword at Light's heart. "I don't think so. You want information, fight for it." Rorak was watching Light while he spoke. BEing in the army hepled him be ready for any type of attack. He had been watching Hatsugen, being as distrusting as Rorak is, and say him get into this mess. Even though he didn't trust anyone to a particular liking, Hatsugen was still a school teacher.

OOC: You can't even see his face. How would you know its him. His eyes aren't visible or his hair and you wouldn't even have heard his voice. There's no evidence that the person you see is Light.

IC: Light grinned evily behind the hood of the sweatshirt. Apparently, Rorak hadn't heard most of the conversation because he jumped in without thinking. Light still couldn't be identified because his face wasn't revealed. He was confident that he could get through this. He was well armed with all that he needed and he knew that Hatsugen couldn't negotiate. Plus, Hatsugen desperately needed that information.

"I don't know exactly who you are or what you want, but this is a private conversation between me and Hatsugen. I wouldn't interfere if I were you. If you do, I'll kill Hatsugen right on the spot and beleive me, I won't hesitate. You'd be a fool to attack right now. There's too much at stake and you don't even know if I'll actually die from a gunshot. Truthfully, who's to say that I won't kill you...Rorak. I would advise you to not interfere."

Light knew the name of Rorak thanks to his previous encounter with Nejisuke. Light figured that he would need that name and he memorzied it along with Rorak's face. Light needed this information. It was only a matter of time until the real identity of Zero would be revealed and Light would be able to initiate his plan of ridding the world of evil.

Meanwhile, Ryuk watched patiently from the sidelines. He wondered if Light would be able to get out of this situation safely or would this be the end of Light Yagami. Ryuk was curious now and was paying close attention. Light often found himself in these situations ane he proved to find some way out of them although it may cause him to lose valuable information while it could also cause him to gain detailed information.

"Well Light, what will you do?"

A small metal spider starts towards the group, it had previously been hidden by the trees. Nejisuke Metaruhando allways liked to keep watch over his fellow techers, not that they needed protection, but Nejisuke has allways been one to be a bit paranoid about people he wasn't to close to. The spider scrambles across the street to get near the people. Nejisuke wasn't planning on a personal apperance yet, but he was keeping a careful watch from inside the metal spider. If this thing turned ugly, he'd be there to help and/or intervene. He hadn't heard any of the conversation, but became interested as Rorak became involved.

IC: Hatsugen thought for a moment about the situation he was in. He kept a few things in mind about his opponent. Apparently, his opponent was able to kill him easily but the means for him to do so were still unknown to him. He didn't even know if the person was being truthful, but he didn't really want to call that bluff. He did want to know about his son's whereabouts too and he had a goal that he needed to fulfill, which was to bring him back to his family. He decided to give the hooded man the information he needed.

"Fine, I'll tell you. My son's name is not Eisukke Sunosuke but his name is....Kisuke Sunosuke."

Hatsugen hesitated for a moment because at that point, he realized that he may have put his son in grave danger. He didn't know what that guy was capable of, but it seemed that a person's name was important or else he wouldn't have gone through the trouble of trying to get it. Hatsugen was trying to think of a way to learn more about that person, but at this point it would be difficult. He and Rorak could double team him, but if he could instantly kill someone, their battle tactics would prove futile.

Finally, I have it. I have the key to the destruction of Suzaku and more importantly, the key to the destruction of Zero, or better yet, the key to destroying Kisuke..Sunosuke. It wasn't too difficult to acquire his name, but I did it and now my plan to become the God of the new world will unfold. The only thing that stands in my way now is when and where to write his name.

Light was happy as he gave grin. Again, he has successfully learned the name of his opponent and again he has outsmarted those that stand in his way with his intelligence and pure wit. Ryuk was upside down nearby laughing hysterically. He too knew what had just happened and he loved the entertainment. He was floating there. Had he been able to have been heard by anyone else, this would have been a bad thing as he was so loud.

Hatsugen wanted to know one more thing. He needed to know at least where it is his son was or how he could get to him. Hatsugen foolishly fell for his trap, but he decided that it wouldn't be too late to save Kisuke if he needed it, but he needed more information or some clues to reach him.

"Can you tell me one of these: What's the name of this organization Kisuke is the head of? Or can you tell me at least where it is?"

Light grinned. He somewhat figured out what Hatsugen was trying to do and he had no objection to it. He would let him get the information he desired because at this point, Hatsugen was merely a puppet on strings held by Light's will. He would do anything Light said in fear of his death because Light had the Death Note.

"I'll tell you what. I'll answer both of your questions. The organization that Kisuke is head of is known as Suzaku. As for its whereabouts...it is located on the far side of Nagai Michi by way of the longest road to the farthest distance. It is well hidden so you'll have to do a little bit of scavenging on your own but the information I provided you with should be enough...at least to start you off."

Light began to walk off in the opposite direction of where they came from. He took the longest road down the path of Nagai Michi at a crossroad. Ryuk secretly followed behind.

"Remember! Don't follow me. If I find out that anyone or anything is following me or stalking me, I will kill one of you. I know your names and I won't hesitate. It would only take a second."

Light continued down, he was getting harder to see as his image moved further.

Eissuke....realy named kisuke....head of an organization....instant death..... All of these thoughts swirl in Nejisuke's mind as he hears this part of the conversation. It was a difficult thing to understand....but enough has been said for Nejisuke to get it. The spider splits into a second spider, which is a molten clone, and Nejisuke remains inside the other spider. Nejisuke himself heads after the figure dissapearing in the distance, while the clone starts scurrying towards the place known as 'Suzaku'. Nejisuke is ignoring the last threat of the person, as he doesn't believe anyone has the power to instantly kill now. If only he knew what he was getting into in this situation.....

Mukuro was walking along the Eternal Pathway after testing his possession abilities on multiple weak minded people and he saw Hatsugen from a distance. Mukuro thought Hatsugen looked like Kisuke so Mukuro decided to walk forward and talk to him, but just in case this person would think Mukuro as an enemy due to his appearance he possessed the body of a young boy only about 5 feet tall, with brown hair, wearing a tattered cloak. Using that boy's body he ran toward Hatsugen then he tugged on Hatsugen's sleeve and said with a smiling face.

Hey mister you seem troubled, whats wrong?

After saying that Mukuro thought

Kufufu this man might have some useful information that I can use, but he seems too powerful to possess so I'll just have some small talk with him.

And so Mukuro waited for Hatsugen to answer.

OOC: Hey Nejisuke, just to let you know, even if your spider manages to find Suzaku and distiguish it from any other place, it still wouldn't be able to enter because of the barrier that surrounds the perimeter.

IC: Hatsugen turned around after feeling the tug on his shirt and hearing the friendly voice of the little child. He wondered who this child was and where he came from but he was far too kind to ignore a young child so he decided to talk to him.

"There's not much wrong young one. I'm beginning to understand a few things and I'm hoping to correct problems that I've recently could not have. Remember this as you grow up: Experience is the best teacher and failure teaches success. Keep this in mind during your life and become more experienced in whatever you wish to do."

Hatsugen walked off towards Sentou Gakuin. He felt as though the information he had gathered should be shared with the other faculty members.

OOC: yeah, i've read up on it.

As Hatsugen was leaving, Mukuro, still in the body of a child made an sinister looking grin. And his right eye pupil began to glow red.

It's that man who you were talking to sooner. It seems that he has found a way to kill you. Am I correct? Or maybe he found a way to kill someone close to you. Kisuke perhaps? Kufufu you can fool my eye, just by looking and talking to you now I know who I have to look out for.

After saying that Mukuro released his possession over the child and he vanished to another place.
