Abilities are the new addition to the forum that will change the way people Role Play. An Ability is a special skill that a character possesses that may or may not be unique to the character. The amount of Abilities that one can have depends on the character and how strong they are. Warrior Classes that they possess also makes a difference in the amount of Ability slots they'll have. Abilities are different than a basic technique or a simple attack. Unlike those, they take effect outside of the Technique limit and they do not require a dice to activate depending on the technique. Also, they may either be in effect all of the time or only when specifically activated and the Ability can affect the character directly, an opponent directly, a creature, etc. As you use them, you will learn more about Abilities and learn more about how to use them. Some examples of Abilities are as follows:


Bushido-The Way of The Samurai: This ability allows a Swordsman with the Samurai Sub-Class to automatically inflict damage to their opponent after an attack, whether Special or normal, successfully hits the opponent. The damage done by this ability equals half the attack power of the successful attack used prior to this effect activating. This ability can be used as many times as there are successful attacks.

~This is an example of a trigger Special that requires no dice or cost for activation, but simply activation once a set condition is met. In this case, the condition is a successfully attack on the opponent. With an attack like this, its obvious that it doesn't take place until after the opponent's turn since the results of whether the attacks were successful aren't known until then.


Snipe: This ability costs 150 Skill Points to activate during the user's turn. The user of this ability, after paying the required amount, can increase the dice roll and power of one normal attack per payment by 6 dice and 200 Attack Points. This ability can only be used by someone of the Gunner Warrior Class.

~This is another example of an Ability, but this ability requires a cost in order to activate. The cost is 150 Skill Points per use. This could be a good and bad thing depending on the Skill Points overall the person has. A low ranked person would most likely have lower Skill Points meaning that this ability would not be something that can be used often, however a higher ranked person would have higher Skill Points meaning that they can use this more often.


These are just some of the abilities that you may be able to use. You can even create your own. Take advantage of these Abilities to create your own strategies in battle.
