I will start teaching different lessons on how to use the battlefield and the dice. You may ask specific questions that you need to know or you can wait until I write different post lessons. This is a free response class so you may particpate no matter who you are and you make comment as you see fit but any spam or material like that will be deleted on sight.

Dice And Battlefield Class Empty Re: Dice And Battlefield Class

Post by Xexame May 20th 2008, 9:07 pm

I have a question to ask although it refers to the process of making techniques. My question: Can the final attack damage exceed the maximum attack power that each level of warrior can use or can it only go up to the maximum? For example, If a trainer or master made an attack with an attack power of 600, and the successful attack in battle did about 2000, is that allowed? What would that be counted as, critical attack or just an attack?

Dice And Battlefield Class Empty Re: Dice And Battlefield Class

If I understand your question correctly, you may exceed how much your attack does so long as it doesn't become overly powerful or Godmodded. If you are yellow, it is possible to have an attack that may be able to reach up to 400 points of damage. Of course, to get there the person will need to be creative and not go out of the two dice per turn rule, etc. The attack power indicator for each rank is a base amount. The start of the attack can be as high as indicated and no more but overall damage per attack can become very high. Due to the base attack power though, you'll never see an average yellow, red, or blue reach as much as a Master's strongest attack possible.

I hope this answers your question.

This will be a quick lesson about the battlefield and the functions, such as benefits and reasons why you would use it.

To start, you can post a picture in your battlefield for all to see if they click battlefield. I recommend a large picture of your character so that others can get a more visual picture of what it is. Simply upload a pic by placing the IMG code. Easy right? You don't have to upload a picture and it isn't required.

For your character information, you should use that so that others can get a quick look at your character information like their name, age, etc.

Directly below that, you'll see Health Points. The Health Points in that location applies to the first character that you made when you started. The Health Points will be set once you make your character and get approved but after that, you'll have to deduct your own points during battles. Remember that unless you heal yourself, you cannot recover life. This also refers to out of battle and in battle. You can only recover life with specific techniques, the medical area(s), or when you receive permission to otherwise.

The Dice Inventory allows you to see the different amounts of total dice your character can use per battle. Don't worry about changing those as they generally remain the same. They are used as a reminder to you to let you know how many die your character can use per battle. The other two dice inventories and Health Points apply respectively to your character (second main and third main).

The Character Techniques allows you and your opponent to see all of your approved techniques and abilities for all of your characters. It is highly asked that you fill out the character techniques and abilities.

Inventory is a small bar for mods and other viewers. It is where you can record all of your items collected which includes items like Elemental Domes, accesories, and other random items that increase the stats of your character(s). It is highly necessary to place ALL collected items in your inventory and keep track of them so that you have proof of purchase if something happens. Keeping up with that is YOUR responsibility.

This is a question on the Techniques. Is there a limit to the amount of techniques you can have, and if you use all of the dice in your inventory does that count as a forfeit or a loss.

There is no limit to the amount of techniques that you can have. If you are in a battle and you run out of dice, that counts as a forfeit. In a real match, that would be like a complete loss of power in which the opponent could just attack every turn until they kill your character. You should never put yourself in a position like that.

Dice And Battlefield Class Empty Re: Dice And Battlefield Class

Post by Jisenki May 30th 2008, 2:39 pm

Now I'm going to explain a few things about the dice. In total there are 6 dice that you can choose from. Every turn, you may choose 2 of the 6 dice to "roll" each turn in order to perform a specific action. Some may be wondering about which dice to dice and whether they need to roll a dice. They may also be wondering what each dice will do and how to decide ehich one to use. Well, I'll begin to explain the dice starting with the Attack Dice and ending with the Special Dice.

First up, the attack dice. The attack dice is among the most basic of the 6 die. The Attack Dice allows a person to attack in battle (if it wasn't already obvious enough). More specifically though, it only permits regular attacks that don't generally have hidden powers or anything special about them. When making your techniques, you should be careful that your attacks that use Attack Die don't do anything else except allow you a basic attack. Some people may be asking themselves: If that's all it allows us to do, why should we make more than one technique that uses an Attack Dice. The answer to that is fairly simple: Consider a battle in which you fight a person that can nullify the usage of all techniques that use an Attack Dice and do more than 200 for the base attack. Well, if you made more than one technique that uses an Attack Dice and has lower attack points, you can still go on the offensive rather than have nearly no means of attacking.

For those of you that want to know, here is what the Attack Dice looks like:

Jisenki carried out 1 launched of one Dice And Battlefield Class Eliwood2 (Attack Dice.) :
7

You'll notice that there is a picture and a number as well as what die was cast. Those are all helpful, especially the number rolled. The main rule of fighting with this dice is that the higher number wins.
You should know that in a battle, all 6 dice have chains to one another and some can only be used in response to another. For the attack dice, it is always the chain starter no matter what. You'll understand what I mean when you see the chain chart below:
Code:

-Attack Dice can be defended by Defense Dice
-Attack Dice can be evaded by Evade Dice
-Attack Dice can be countered by Counter Dice
-Attack Dice can be defended by Special Dice [w/ Defensive Benefits]

As you can see, if the roll of whoever used the attack dice is lower than the person using the defense/evade/counter/special dice, it can be defended, evaded, etc.
However, if the Attack Dice's value is higher than the value of the defense, etc. the Attack Dice will be successful in striking the opponent and the opponent must subtract points from HP equal to whatever the attack damage of the attack was (unless another ability says otherwise).

Remember that with all of the dice chains, the dice you roll in response only affects the corresponding dice, but only in cases when there are the same amount of dice rolled for both people.
