Epsilon's Abilities

Name: Trade-Off
Effect: This ability's effect is activated whenever Epsilon doesn't roll a Special each turn. When this ability is activated, once per turn, Epsilon can roll a Special Dice in place of an Item Dice. Furthermore, whenever there is a turn that Epsilon does not choose to roll a Special Dice, he gains a Special Dice counter. Special Dice counters can be used as substitutes for Item Dice. This means that if Epsilon chose to not roll a Special Dice for 5 turns, he has 5 Special Dice counters which will allow him to use 5 Item Dice in one turn. All the saved dice must be used in the same turn. When any of the Special Dice counters are used, the amount of saved Special Dice counters resets to 0.
Activation Requirement: Epsilon must roll a Special Dice to activate this Ability. The effects don't apply until Epsilon's next turn. The effects of this Ability is activated each turn Epsilon doesn't roll a Special Dice.
Cost: 300 Tsukara


Name: Tsukara Thread Extension
Effect: Many puppeteers require the use of shorter or farther range in order to increase their fighting potential. Ordinarily, puppeteers have a set range that they are able to control. Epsilon has the ability to generate large amounts of tsukara and directly straight to his fingertips, allowing him to further increase or decrease the range of a puppet. When used, Epsilon can make a Close Ranged puppet into a Far Ranged puppet and vice-versa.
Activation Requirement: Special Dice
Cost: 500 Tsukara

For Trade off, you said it can only be activated during the first time your character can roll a dice. By this, do you mean that you can only use it when Epsilon can roll a dice because it requires a dice to use part of the ability? Technically, your ability requires no dice or dice depending on which part of the ability you are trying to use. Perhaps a Special Dice activation to get the ability in its entirety going would be helpful. A tsukara cost would be good for this circumstance as well. The other one is fine.
