Sara Lacore's Sword (updated and renewed)

Name: Sword of a Thousand Lies

Appearance: It is a dark blue with a spiky handle and a ice crystals near the hilt. The blade itself is dark blue with markings that match Sara's on them (black). The handle is quite simple except it is jewel embedded near the hilt. The sword also has a long blue tassel on it, so it can be swung around with more dexterity. The scabbard of the sword can also be used for blocks, as it is made of very hard and durable leather, but if a sword is especially sharp, this may be impossible.

Effects: Weeping: This sword is made of unmeltable ice, and is as hard as any metal known. This makes it virtually indestructible but despite this, it is chipped and splintered very easily, only the core being truly unmeltable. Every night, however it begins to melt, despite its contents and heals itself so when the sun rises again it is exactly the way it was before, in pristine condition. The sword also changes over night to the physical requirements of its wielder, for example it is very light because of Sara's lack of muscles, but was large and heavy for her Cousin.

Veritu: This sword has the ability to detect lies and deceit. (it is how the treacherous family members were found out) if there is someone around who wishes harm to the wielder the sword vibrates and the stripes on it flash white continually. If someone is lying to the wielder then the sword just flashes white. This means that so long as Sara isn't paying particular attention to her sword or is being distracted it is highly possible that she wouldn't be able to find out about the lie and would be deceived the same as any other person.

Benefits: N/A

Transformation: The sword doesn't transform at all, except it's physical properties to the weilder and their fighting style. The effects and what it can do don't change when it adapts to it's new owner.

History: The sword had been in Sara's family since deep in its history, originally created by her ancestors who lived thousands of years ago. They were the ones who developed the fire affinity and created the clans wealth. They also created the mountain home the clan uses now, and others that have fallen into disrepair. The sword was created by them because of their close ties with humans. to the clan, humans can never be trusted and so the sword often noted when the clan were being deceived by the people they ruled and lived by. The last owner of the sword before Sara was her cousin Tobias. He was given it by their grandfather in his will, as it is customary to give out gifts and belongings before one dies, to stop confusion and mistrust. The sword is supposedly given to the head of the clan (currently Sara's grandfather, He's still not dead) and as Sara's grandfather is so old it was to be given to a younger leader, Tobias. Sara's father was deemed too old and Sara was deemed too young and a female.

Sara took the sword off Tobias after killing him when he attacked her (see character Role-play). Her grandfather has always wanted her to have it, but understood the reasons why. The sword has now been removed from the coronation ceremony of a new clan leader because it has been "sullied" By Sara's treachery and malice.

These effects don't need dice since they don't affect a character in the battle itself. Instead, the effects affect the Role-Playing aspect more.
