Hibiki Tobuyoshi

This page is for Kuroi's first corpse, Hibiki, which he will be inhabiting when he starts wandering around.

Background: Kuroi the spirit is, or was, Hibiki Tobuyoshi. Hibiki was an average kid; he went to school, he played games, he caused trouble, and so on. He lived a regular life, and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. It was nothing special, but he enjoyed it just the same. Hibiki's best friends were his schoolmates Mia and Isaac. The three grew up together. They all had their dreams; Mia wanted to become a doctor, Hibiki wanted to play music. Isaac, however, wanted something more dangerous. He wanted to become a powerful warrior. He dreamed of eliminating entire battlefields singlehandedly. In fights at school, Isaac would refuse help; every battle was his own, and no matter how much of his own blood was spilled, he won. But Isaac wanted more power. He didn't want to fight school bullies. He wanted to fight monsters and demons, and become a hero.
Isaac gathered Mia and Hibiki at his house one day. He led them to his room. On the ground was a large circle with strange, disturbing markings drawn around it. Isaac said the circle would give them all enormous power. Mia and Hibiki, cautious but loyal to their friend, agreed to help him, and followed his orders, chanting haunting phrases. Isaac then told them all to drip blood onto the circle. Mia and Isaac cut their palms and dripped blood onto the circle, but Hibiki, being afraid of cutting himself, refused.
Upon his refusal, a black shadow rose from the circle. It howled in anger, roaring for Hibiki's blood. Hibiki, terrified, turned to his friends for protection. He watched them run away from him, screaming. This would be Kuroi's only memory, and the cause for his hunger for friendship. The shadow being killed Hibiki, suffocating him in black mist.
Hibiki was buried at age 17. He sat in the earth for 100 years, during which the black mist swirled in his lungs, spread throughout his body, and soon overtook him. Thus, Hibiki became Kuroi, the man made of shadows.

Appearance: Hibiki stands at about 5'9". He is skeletally thin, being that he hasn't eaten in 100 years, and is very pale after being in a grave motionless for so long. His hair is long and gray, and his eyes are as gray as his hair. He wears a black, dusty jacket and a dusty pair of black jeans. While Kuroi is inhabiting him, Hibiki's heart pumps, blood flows, and he appears to be unhealthy but alive, although he does cough quite often. Those who are completely in touch with their spiritual self can notice a dark aura eminating from Hibiki while Kuroi inhabits him.

After 100 years he's be completely decomposed! But that doesn't matter, it sounds awesome.

Just thinking though... shouldn't this be like a sub thread in character or something, maybe an extra part of your character profile. It's hardly random!

Thanks. I slightly forgot about the whole decomposition part of death. Maybe I'll add a little "black mist= no decay" thing somewhere. Or we can just ignore science. I choose Number 2.

Ignoring science does sound best. Its fiction. Science doesn't exist. Only scifi does
