Many of the following terms may be seen while you look at the Item Catalog. It helps that you know what these terms mean so that you understand how to use the different items. Many of the terms are straightforward in meaning so you should be able to memorize them in one read-through, and if you don't then this is always here as an aid.

Terms

Breakdown: This term means that once the item is used, it cannot be used again unless another is purchased. Its a one time only use and once lost, the item cannot be reproduced unless otherwise stated.

OOC: (Out-of-Character) An item with this is used only outside of character and outside of the general story of the character. This is not the same as something like an item that is used when in a non-battle post, but this is something like an Elemental Tome that doesn't really exist in the main storyline of Sentou Gakuin. Generally, items like these are made to enhance the overall skill level of a character or the person using the character through means of more dice or more elements.

OOB: (Out-of Battle) These items exist within the world of Sentou Gakuin, but are restricted to use outside of battles. Items like these make an appearance every so often but are usually very helpful.

IB: (In Battle) Basically, the exact opposite of OOB. These items are restricted to use within battle only. These items usually have to do with a character's health, Tsukara, or in-battle dice values. It may also have something to do with their power or strength in battle.

Once per battle: These items are as the name suggests and can only be used once per battle, depending on the quantity of the items owned. These items are equipped to characters and cannot be split among different characters. A person may find themselves purchasing multiple items if they are good.
