Effect: Whenever a technique or ability specifically targets one other character, item, or creature, the character that has this equipped ability may switch the target of the activated technique or ability to themselves instead. They may also activate a technique or anything else as a chain to the technique. When this ability is used, the original target is no longer the designated target and cannot used techniques as part of the chain unless they have the ability Intercept, or have some other technique that grants them the skill to do so.

Name: Starscreen
Effect: The user enhances the tsukara to blast forward the defend themselves and construct a powerful barrier that is great for blocking all types of techniques. At the cost of X tsukara, a barrier is created that can block X amount of damage. Can be activated only during user's turn. This ability automatically defends against the chained technique, but basically lowers the attack power of the technique by the amount of tsukara paid. (An attack with 200 attack power will only inflict 50 when this ability is activated and the user pays 150 tsukara). If this ability is used, no other dice can used to block the technique that this ability is blocking.
