It is attached to Nagai Michi but because of the canyon, which has a 175 foot gap, not many are able to cross it except for the Shien family. The other side of the canyon is lower that the side nearest Nagai Michi, so it is possible to jump to the other side considering that someone has a vehicle to move fast enough or can glide to the other side. 500 feet below the canyon is a lake that was filled with rainwater. It is so far down that the sunlight doesn't completely reach it making it cold and icy.
