Appearance:

HoTatsu EX is a more advanced and evolved version of an average HoTatsu. Normally, the entire body of a HoTatsu is red, but this HoTatsu is mostly black with a red mane and red stripes that go across his body. HoTatsu EX is also much larger than an average HoTatsu, and measures at 7 feet tall. One of the most powerful features of HoTatsu are his tail and his wings, which grew powerful from the evolution. HoTatsu is a vicious creature, and has developed horns in his evolution although he never really uses them. His tail is powerful and can slice through things, although his tail rarely make any uses in battles.

Creature Abilities:

Dirge Of The Flame: This is a basic yet dangerous move within HoTatsu EX's arsenal if not the most dangerous. HoTatsu EX will build up flames from within his body and unleash them at his opponent with ease creating almost a gigantic stream of flames. The flames are powerful but the problem is the sheer rage that is put into it. This attack is deadly but isn't always used because even Wesa sometimes fears it. When used, this attack takes effect only if the dice roll of the user is less than that of an opponent's Defense Dice and Counterattack Dice or Special[Defense] Dice. The attack damage is determined by taking the opponent's dice roll and multiplying it by 250. This only works if the attack is successful.

EX Flame Wall: A more powerful version of the Flame Wall defense used by average HoTatsu's, this one has the effect of reducing an opponent's attack too. HoTatsu uses wind energy when making this technique too so some wind properties are seen here, but some fire properties are mostly seen. The usual Flame Wall would simply defend, but HoTatsu EX's Flame Wall actually counters. In battle, this move's original damage is 200, but when an attack is used against HoTatsu or Wesa, HoTatsu can counter it and the damage inflicted if successful is 200+the opponent's attack damage. With this attack, any wind or fire attack that is being countered loses 125 points of attack power.

History:

Wesa encountered HoTatsu EX in one of his trips to Nemes after a failed attempt at capturing a high bounty. He found HoTatsu EX and was attacked after a moment of staring. During their battle, Wesa noticed that this HoTatsu was pretty strong and feisty so he decided to capture it, using one of the only capsules that he had on him. The battle he had was somewhat difficult but he pulled through. He has released HoTatsu once for training but HoTatsu EX went out of control and Wesa was forced to call him back to his capsule. Since then, Wesa rarely uses the HoTatsu because of how difficult it is to control him.
